Here are the basics of listing an items for sale on eBay:
- Find an item you want to sell
Start by going to eBay or to the
eBay
Research
page and
spend some time searching eBay for items similar to the one you have to
sell. This will give you an idea of its potential value and the best
categories in which to list it. You can look for items similar to yours
by clicking Search at the top of any eBay page. Then choose the
Advanced Search tab, enter keywords that describe your item, and
check the "Completed Items Only" box. You will see a list of recently
ended items that are similar to yours.
List your item using eBay's Sell Your Item
form
Click the Sell button at the top of any eBay page. eBay's
Sell Your
Item form will take you through the process of listing your item
step-by-step, including helping you find appropriate categories for your
item. On the Sell Your Item form, you will:
check into auction
management software -->
-
Set your price
You can choose to set a
starting
price and allow buyers to place bids. If you don't want to sell your
item below a certain price, you can set a
reserve price.
Or you can offer buyers a convenient fixed price through the
Buy It Now
option.
Get paid!
When your listing ends, you should contact your winning buyer through
email or by generating an eBay invoice within three business days. Let
the buyer know the total price of the item, including your stated
shipping costs, and how they can pay you. eBay recommends PayPal as the
fast, easy, and secure way for buyers to pay. When you list your item
with PayPal as a payment method, your buyers can securely pay you online
with a credit card or checking account.

shipping And ship it fast. Send the item to the buyer's shipping
address, which the buyer will have specified with their payment or in an
email. Include a note to the buyer asking them to let you know when they
receive the item. Fast shipping and friendly service are reasons for
them to buy from you again.
Leave feedback for your buyer.

feedback system helps create a trustworthy community for everyone.
Your feedback about your buyer is important information for other
