Live auctions and
local auction houses are a
great places to get items to sell on eBay BUT it is
important to research the items you are buying BEFORE the auction to be sure it is
a profitable item.
It can be hard at times in all the excitement to compete with a hungry
crowd of fellow buyers that are after the same goodies that you are after.
There are a lot of other resellers out there and also lots of everyday
people just trying to save a buck on personal stuff for their home.
I try to focus on finding items
that sell for over $100 that I can buy at a local auction for $10 to $20 (or 10%
to 20% of the resell price). I buy and sell less but make more profit and my garage is
not as full of .... you know "someone else's treasures" (Junk). You will
start to value your "storage space" if you fill it up with items that are
hard to sell. (See:
Home Office Tips)
We all make the mistake of paying to much for something once
in a while, you just have to sell it for a loss and go on!
The local auctions
that are happening right in your town are awesome places to find some of
the most PROFITABLE, hard to find items to sell on eBay.
Let me quickly explain the 2 best ways to make a profit selling on eBay.
-
Selling hundreds
(or thousands) for products every week by automating and
streamlining the buying, selling, and shipping processes of your
business. Check out the
Sellers Resources page for more
information on the business automation process.
or....
-
Sell only a few
items (10 to 30) that are extremely profitable.
This is a little more TIME and ENERGY intensive, but it is the
route I personally choose because I enjoy going to auctions and
hunting down the good deals.
I will add others to
this list if you let me know of a good auctioneer or local auction
house.
Just let me know.......
These are some of the best auctioneers and auction houses across the
UNITED STATES!
